Acupuncture
Danielle (Dani) is a NYS Licensed Acupuncturist specializing in Kiiko Acupuncture, a Japanese style known for its gentle technique. She integrates Classical Acupuncture to treat pain, emotions, illness, and disease. She also weaves in additional modalities of Chinese medicine, including trigger points (sometimes known as dry needling), cupping, Gua Sha, moxa, and e-stim. Dani seeks to empower others to discover the profound healing potential she has experienced firsthand through acupuncture. Dani treats pain-related conditions such as neck and back pain, headaches, injury recovery, digestive disorders, hormonal imbalances, stress, anxiety, emotional well-being, insomnia, tinnitus, fertility support (for all genders), and needle-sensitive patients. Danielle is an intuitive acupuncturist whose sessions are both informative and collaborative, ensuring each patient has a voice in their own healing. Using palpation techniques of the Hara (abdomen) and reflex (tender) points throughout the body, Dani’s sessions are built not only on her knowledge of patterns and protocols but are also driven by these diagnostic tools as well as the reports of improvement from patients along the way. Dani is thorough in her explanations of points and intention while treating, and she offers acupressure and other self-care suggestions, creating a safe and empowered experience for her patients. Prior to her study in Acupuncture, Dani worked as a freelance journalist and in the service industry. She has a deep passion for yoga, rock climbing, hiking, music, and laughter. She received her Masters of Science in Acupuncture from the Pacific College of Health and Science and is dedicated to utilizing Chinese Medicine to enhance the well-being and joy of others.
