Yoga & Strength
Jessica, ERYT-500, has been an impassioned teacher and explorer in integrative health for over twenty years, specializing in the mind-body connection. Her journey began with a Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) program in 1996, leading her to complete her first teacher training at OM Yoga in 2001. Since then, she has taught countless classes, workshops, and retreats supporting others in the practice of living well.
In addition to her yoga offerings, Jessica sees clients in her private coaching practice, specializing in mindful inquiry, functional medicine and somatic approaches to living well. Her holistic approach to yoga blends her experience as a Functional Medicine Health Coach, long-time Zen Buddhist practitioner, training in Somatic Experiencing (SEP) with her current pursuit of an MSW at Fordham. I believe yoga offers us a unique path of self inquiry, embodiment, and energetic and physical alignment. I hope my classes - which infuse breath, seasonal attunement, strong asana and contemplative pauses - help my students come home to themselves, cultivate their attention and connect more deeply to their human experience.
