Dr. Lu Fang employs acupuncture, herbal medicine, and complementary therapies to address root causes and promote holistic healing by approaching each patient as a unique individual. Through her practice of Chinese medicine, she is committed to helping her patients alleviate ailments and restore balance and harmony into their lives.
Her journey in healing began at the bustling clinic of Beijing Tong Ren Tang, where she apprenticed with esteemed doctors of Traditional Chinese Medicine, specialized in internal medicine and fertility, seeing 60 to 80 patients daily. After completing her master's degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine in New York, she continued her apprenticeship at the Guangdong Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Guangzhou, one of the most prestigious public hospitals in China. At Guangdong Hospital, she co-treated challenging cases in the rehabilitation department using acupuncture. In her clinical practice, Dr. Fang is skilled in treating a wide range of ailments, including chronic and acute pain throughout the body, digestive issues, upper respiratory problems, skin conditions, and women's health concerns such as menstruation, fertility, and menopause.
Beyond her healing practice, Lu Fang is a renowned contemporary artist known for her video art and installations. Her creative background infuses her approach to healing with a unique perspective.
Lu Fang holds a Doctorate in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine, a Master of Science in Traditional Oriental Medicine with a specialization in Herbal Medicine, and a Master of Fine Arts. She is a licensed acupuncturist in the state of New York and is a Diplomate in Oriental Medicine, certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.
